Single channel array DOA estimation approach based on perfect sampling method

A new Direction Of Arrival(DOA)estimation algorithm for single channel array is proposed in this paper. It establishes a new narrowband signal processing model of single channel array via controlling receive channel by radio frequency shift, this model only requires the array outputs to be sampled one at a time by a single receive channel. It gives the posterior parameter function of the DOA. Then combined with Markov Chain Monte Carlo(MCMC)methods, a new perfect sampling method is provided to resolve the maximum a posterior(MAP)function of DOA, and the DOA estimation is realized. Computer simulation verifies that the proposed algorithm has high performance and resolution, compared with the traditional perfect sampling algorithm, this novel algorithm not only keeps the excellent performance of the original MAP algorithm, but also reduces the convergence time.
