Geometric group key-sharing scheme

A wireless sensor network (WSN) is composed of sensor nodes and a base station. In WSNs, it is important to construct an efficient key-sharing scheme in order to ensure secure communication. Pairwise key sharing for unicasting has been the subject of much research. In many cases, key sharing for multicasting and broadcasting is achieved by using a pairwise key. Consequently, unicast communication is required according to the number of nodes. In this paper, we propose a new keysharing scheme for groups, which shares a group key in a single broadcast without being dependent on the number of nodes. This scheme is based on geometric characteristics, and has information-theoretic security.
