Treatment experience of laparoscopic surgery for impacted stones in elderly patients with acute cholecystitis(A analysis of 80 cases)

Objective To investigate the experience of laparoscopic surgery for impacted stones in elderly patients with acute cholecystitis.Methods Eighty cases in yangquan coalmine group general hospital from January 2008 to May 2012 with acute calculus incarcerated cholecystitis who accepted LC were retrospectively analyzed.Results LC was completed successfully in 77 patients,3 cases converted to open surgery.The percentage of success was 96.25%.Surgical complications included 2 cases of bile leakage and 1 case of abdominal hemorrhage.All patients were cured by conservative methods.No death occurred.Conclusions Laparoscopic cholecystectomy for the acute cholecystitis with incarcerated gallstones in elder patients are safe unless reasonable operation time,operation mode,pay attention to surround operation period management.
