A 91-year-old woman underwent transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) due to severe aortic stenosis (23-mm Sapien 3, Edwards Lifesciences, Irvine, California). She was on apixaban (2.5 mg twice daily) as an antithrombotic therapy due to atrial fibrillation.
She was admitted to our hospital
