Audiovisual Media Open Educational Resources. The case of SP-ARK: The Sally Potter Film Archive

This paper provides insights into a research project in progress that investigates the collaborative potential and opportunities between open educational practices and online open audiovisual archives. As part of this research, an in-depth evaluative case study is being undertaken in conjunction with a number of universities into the pedagogic potential of the Sally Potter Archive, SP-ARK. This paper investigates the SP-ARK case study within the wider context of audiovisual OERs and audiovisual archives, and policy issues surrounding their access, use and licensing.
