MR Angiography Methods

It is extremely difficult to forecast the signal intensity of blood in the MR image, because the blood signal depends on a large number of factors. On the one hand, these include technical factors such as: Sequence type (SE, GRE, etc.), Sequence parameters (TR, TE, flip angle), and on the other hand geometrical and physiological factors such as: Flow direction with respect to the image plane (perpendicular to or within the image plane), Flow velocity (arterial, venous, systolic, diastolic), Pulsation, Flow profile (laminar, turbulent).
