Comment on “Formation of twin boundaries in commercial purity aluminum with addition of Ti refiner” by Zhongwei Chen, Jianping Gao, Kang Yan

Abstract This paper reports the iQC-mediated nucleation mechanism for another aluminum alloy, which we have identified first in Al-Zn:Cr [1] and then in Au-Ag-Cu:Ir [2] . As such, this is an interesting result but there are unfortunately two problems: The paper contains several errors or imprecisions on one hand, and the text is written with a lack of proper references and inadequate statements.
