La seguridad privada en España y la prevención del delito

Given the current situation in Europe with terrorist attacks in the most important cities and the lack of coordination between some police forces, especially in Spain, the private security is the focus of analysis by politicians and professionals in the sector. The technological advances of the security systems can give support to both the private sector and the public, and the support between both would enhance their performance not only in the investigation of crime but also in its prevention. The private security industry is growing in importance for international security, more and more countries increase their investment in private forms of surveillance. This trend is not restricted to Europe, but it is the analysis of the White Papers of the EU where its operational practices, its scientific, economic and administrative trends are exposed. Multiple annual summits of private security in Europe serve as a framework for debate on their judicial issues, operational practices and cooperation between public and private security. The need for partnership between both sectors, the general vision, experiences and problems already solved in some countries, facilitate a global image in the face of the interest and need to develop a single European private security.
