Preparation and electrochemical property of Li and Ni co-doped LiMn_2O_4

Li1.005Mn1.995-xNixO4 was prepared with Mn2O3,NiO and Li2CO3 by solid-state route,and properties of Li1.005Mn1.995-xNixO4 were compared with those of LiMn2O4.X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy analysis indicates that Li1.005Mn1.995-xNixO4(x≤0.1) exhibits a cubic spinel structure,morphologies of the particles improve,and decentralization enhances.Charge-discharge cycle performance indicates that Li1.005Mn1.99Ni0.005O4 is a promising cathode material for its high specific capacity and excellent cycle performance.
