Poród i macierzyństwo na wsi - zmiany doświadczeń i ról kobiet wiejskich

In this article the authors analyse factors, which influence the fertility of women in Poland with special focus on the quality of the birth experience, a factor rarely examined. Based on various sources, including memories and literature, the authors reconstruct the experiences of the past, and also using results of pilot studies for the current situation. They try also verify if rural women are part of a visible change, which is possible to observe in obstetrics in Poland today.
