Effect of Yishentiaodu Acupuncture- moxibustion on Hippocampal CA1 Area of Netrins in Alzheimer's Disease rat

Objective To observe the effet of Yishentiaodu acupuncture- moxibustion on hippocampal CA1 area of Netrins in Alzheimer's disease rat,and to investigate the specific mechanism of preventive- treatment on AD by acupuncture- moxibustion. Methods Wistar rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: the normal group,sham- operated group,model group,and acupuncture- moxibustion group. First,bilateral hippocampus were injected Aβ1- 42 to make rat model of AD. Then,acupuncture- moxibustion group selected Baihui points and Shenshu points,and treated with acupuncture and moxibustion. Last,detect the expression of Netrins in rats by the method of Immunofluorescence. Results Compared with normal group and sham- operated group,Neterins expression of model hippocampus was lower obviously than that of them( P 0. 01). However,compared with the model group,Netrins expression of anupuncture- moxibustion group'hippocampus CA1 area increased significantly( P 0. 01). Conclusion Acupuncture- moxibustion can effectively improve of the expression of the Netrins,induce the axonal injured and promote axon regeneration,Which have the effect of prevention and treatment of AD.
