The invention provides a control method applied to an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus comprises a touch screen which is provided with a virtual keyboard. The method comprises the steps of receiving the contact information of a user and the electronic apparatus, and controlling an input manner of the electronic apparatus to change from a first mode to a second mode when the contact information meets preset start conditions; when the input manner is the second mode, correcting an action area of keys in the virtual keyboard according to the touch control information on the virtual keyboard of the user and identifying the touch control information; when the input manner is the first mode, only identifying the touch control of the user without automatic correction of the keys. When the user uses the virtual keyboard and the contact information meets the start conditions, the mode is switched to the second mode automatically without manual control of the user; the first mode and the second mode can be automatically switched, so that it is guaranteed that the user can input information rapidly and accurately; switching is rapid, the operation is simple and the user experience is improved.
