The Design of High Power IGBT Driver Circuit

High power IGBT is widely used in modern radar transmitter,especially in all-solid-state modulator and high voltage switching power supply,in which the driver circuit should meet the requirements of strong driving capacity,immediate and efficient protection.The high power IGBT driver circuit with triggering-modes using inductors is introduced.The driver circuit with low output impedance and high current gain,as well as provided with the ability of over-current detection and protection has achieved potential isolation and burst synchronization.The results show that the driver circuit not only meets the requirements of design,but also can work stably and reliably,which can be widely applied in all-solid-state modulator and high voltage switching power supply.
