Qualitätsverbesserung von Stahlbetonfertigteilen durch Steinkohlenflugasche

1998
This article shall stimulate a more widespread use of the efficiency in the manufacture of precast reinforced concrete compound units of bituminous coal fly ash meeting DIN EN 450 as a concrete admixture than has been the case to date. Using bituminous coal fly ash meeting DIN EN 450 as the concrete admixture meeting DIN 1045 gives a building material for the production of precast reinforced concrete compound units whereby the properties of both the freshly prepared concrete as well as those of the hardened concrete, and hence the quality of the end products, can be considerably improved specific applications of this material [9]. The extensive experience and the scientific findings based on more than 30 years of using this material in concrete are available in concrete technology today as reflected in the applicable standards and regulations. Compliance of bituminous coal fly ash with the requirements as specified in DIN EN 450 is assured by the company's in-house production control as well as by outside surveillance. Because of the diversity of the influencing parameters, there are, in certain instances, other requirements placed on the various types of concrete used in manufacturing precast reinforced concrete compound units than is the case of ready-mixed concrete produced for use at the construction site. By optimizing the concrete matrix, bituminous coal fly ash meeting DIN EN 450 can be used as the ideal concrete admixture for meeting these requirements. The values specified for the mold-release and transportation strengths can be attained with certainty by a specific application of bituminous coal fly ash in the concrete.
