SRM 튜브 적용 중공형 랙바부품 개발

The weight reduction of Steering gear assay has been a major concern of automakers to make high efficiency vehicles. The application of tube contributes to reduce the weight of automotive parts and obtains the mass efficiency with excellent performance. Recently, Hollow Rack bar has been used to achieve lightweight steering gear assay. In this paper, development procedures of hollow Rack bar by SRM tube are discussed. To meet market needs, an integrated approach to optimizing structural Rack bar designs was developed. For evaluation of Steering gear assay, we have carried out function test and bending test etc. the results was considerable for our specification. The developed hollow Rack bar achieve a 25% weight reduction over a solid Rack bar
