Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a tool that has improved diagnosis and treatment planning in the dental field. CBCT presents an image which is gotten through a single scanning. CBCT also allows treatment of image without distortion. CBCT leaves a comparatively less exposition radiation than the conventional CT. Dental Radiology Services at FOA-UNESP has CBCT for radiographic examination prescribed for emergency, non-emergency and comprehensive-care patients (edentulous adults, edentulous adults, and children). These patients are coming at School of Dental or Dental Health Services. This work has the objective to present the use of CBCT as pillars of maxillofacial fracture diagnosis.
