Method and device for setting camera

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device for setting a camera. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a first world matrix of a central camera of a camera array; according to a distance between adjacent two cameras, determining a translation transformation matrix of a to-be-set camera; according to the first world matrix and the translation transformation matrix, calculating a second world matrix of the to-be-set camera; according to the distance between the adjacent two cameras, a view field angle of the central camera, and the distance from a zero-parallax plane of the camera array to a plane where the camera array is located, calculating an off-axis deviation degree of the to-be-set camera; and according to the second world matrix and the off-axis deviation degree, setting the to-be-set camera. By utilizing the method and the device disclosed by the embodiment of the invention, the camera is set automatically, the camera does not need to be set manually, the setting time is reduced, and the camera setting efficiency is improved.
