From leadership to followership: A suggestion for interdisciplinary theorising of mainstream actor reorientation in sustainability transitions

Abstract This viewpoint article draws attention to the importance of mainstream actor reorientation in the diffusion phase of sustainability transitions. It proposes an integrative typology of seminal social science theories, which distinguishes different depths of reorientation and associated processes.
