: Internet is increasing the global system day by day. In recent years lots of efforts were devoted for social media, online shopping, online transactions etc. Those days are gone when people had to wait in a long Queue for getting tickets and completing payments. Now anything, can be done through internet, may it be transactions or booking . We proposed and implemented a system which helps the End User to book for events online. “adventuresandyou.com” is a web-based application, which help end user to book tickets online for events such as Plays, Concerts, Dance, Marathons, etc. By visiting the website, the user is a few clicks away to fill the event form. Online transaction facility makes the payment procedure easier as the user can pay online for the booked event and can keep track of transaction also . Any person can directly contact to the Administrator of the website directly by filling their Contact details.  The website contains mainly two modules and the whole working of website is dependent on these modules. This paper takes review of Web-Based applications and their capabilities, and advantages. It also gives idea of various technologies.
