Effect of Air Resuscitation Compared with Oxygen Resuscitation on Neonatal Asphyxia and Degree of Hypoxic-ischemic Brain Injury

2020
This paperanalyses the effect of air resuscitation and oxygen resuscitation on neonatal asphyxia and the degree of hypoxic-ischemic brain injury. The control group was treated with pure oxygen resuscitation, and the observation group was treated with air resuscitation. The difference of clinical effect, prognosis and complications between the two groups were compared. The differences of blood gas index, Apgar score and resuscitation effect index between the two groups were compared. There was no significant difference in the success rate of resuscitation between the observation group and the control group (P > 0.05); the incidence of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and cardiac function damage in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P 0.05), and the score of neonatal asphyxia in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P 0.05); the time for the observation group to cry and the establishment of spontaneous breathing were significantly shorter than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Air resuscitation has a good effect in the clinical treatment of neonatal asphyxia. It can not only improve the clinical symptoms of the children, but also reduce the risk of complications. It has a high value in improving the outcome and prognosis of the children. It can be considered for clinical application.
