A Novel Peak Holding Method and Circuit Realization of Laser Narrow Pulse

A novel peak holding method of narrow pulse is put forward for the first time.The principle is that damped oscillatory waves form under exciting pulses,the capacitance is charged by the electric current getting across peak envelope demodulation,and finally pulse peak information is held on the capacitance.This method has solved some problems,for example,the circuit structure is complex and the reliability and the uniformity is much bad when narrow pulse peak is detected.The work principle of the circuit is introduced,and the actual circuit and experimental results are presented.This circuit whose structure is simple and reliability is good has been already applied in laser pulse range finder with high accuracy non-cooperation goal.
