Effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with auricular point sticking in treating patients with discogenic low back pain

Objective To observe the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with auricular point sticking in treating patients with discogenic low back pain.Methods Sixty cases of discogenic low back pain were randomly divided into two groups,the control group of 30 cases treated indomethacin suppository,the treatment group treated in the foundation to add with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with auricular point sticking.Mike Jill pain scale score,the excellent and good rate,the improvement rate were observed before and after treatment.Results There was significant differenice between each group before and after the treatment(P = 0.000),Visual analogue scale,SP-MPQ scale and PPI scale in the treatment group were higher than that in the control group(P 0.01).The improvement rate of the treatment group(65.35±12.54)%,the excellent and good rate(86.67%) were better than that of the control group(52.23±10.05)%,63.33%,and there was statistics significance(P 0.05).Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine fumigation combined with auricular point sticking showes effective in treating patients with discogenic low back pain.
