Polymer complexes. IX. Thermal stability of poly[bis (2,6‐diaminopyridine sulphoxide)] and polymer complexes of bis(2,6‐diaminopyridine sulphoxide) with copper halides

Poly[bis(2,6-diaminopyridine sulphoxide)] homopolymer and polymer complexes of bis(2,6-diaminopyridine sulphoxide) with CuCl2, CuBr2, and CuI2 were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, UV-vis spectroscopy, and magnetic measurements. The thermal stabilities of the polymer complexes were studied by means of thermogravimetric analysis. The activation energies of the degradation of the polymer complexes were calculated. Das Homopolymer Poly[bis(2,6-diaminopyridin-sulfoxid)] und polymere Komplexe von Bis(2,6-diaminopyridin-sulfoxid) mit CuCl2, CuBr2 sowie CuI2 wurden hergestellt und mittels Elementaranalyse, Infrarotspektroskopie, UV-vis-Spektroskopie und magnetischer Messungen charakterisiert. Die thermische Stabilitat der polymeren Komplexe wurde mit Hilfe der thermogravimetrischen Analyse ermittelt. Die Aktivierungsenergien fur den thermischen Abbau der polymeren Komplexe wurden berechnet.
