The authors research the individual-authorial specificity of colour naming in the artistic discourse of Irina Murav'eva, consider the coloristic vocabulary of fire element as one of the dominant, conclude that it is an essential part of writer’s colour picture of the world, and also study the peculiarities of the figurative names of fire element in the language of Irina Murav'eva’s fiction.
