Electronic device in wireless communication system and wireless communication method

The invention relates to an electronic device in a wireless communication system and a wireless communication method. According to the invention, the electronic device comprises a setting unit, configured to set up configuration information used for D2D communication measurement for first user equipment (UE) serving the electronic device, the configuration information including reference signal information of second UE taken as a D2D communication candidate object by the first UE; a first transmitting unit, configured to transmit the configuration information, so as to trigger the communication link quality measurement between the first UE and the second UE; a receiving unit, configured to receive a measurement report from the first UE; a conversion determining unit, configured to determine whether to convert the communication of the first UE with a current communication object into communication with the second UE based on the measurement report; and a second transmitting unit, configured to transmit conversion information when the conversion determining unit determines to convert the communication of the first UE with the current communication object into communication with the second UE, so as to notify the first UE and the second UE to communicate.
