Эффект дипептидного миметика фактора роста нервов человека ГК-2h на модели инсульта

2017
The neuroprotective activity of bis-(N-monosuccinyl-glycyl-lysine (GK-2h), a dipeptide mimetic of the human nerve growth factor (NGF), has been studied in experiments on outbred rats with the model of hemorrhagic stroke (HS) caused by intercerebral posttraumatic hematoma (IPH). It is established that GK-2h intraperitoneally injected at doses of 0.1 and 1.0 mg/kg for 5 days produces a protective effect in HS rats over a 14-day period. GK-2h treatment reduced the number of deaths from stroke, optimized exploratory behavior in the open-field test, and prevented IPG-induced amnesia of conditioned passive avoidance reflex. Morphometric studies showed that GC-2h increased the density of surviving neurons in the V-layer neocortex in HS rats. The neuroprotective activity of GK-2h was most clearly manifested in a dose of 1.0 mg/kg.
