2020
This paper introduces a children video Puzzle interaction framework that act as research methodology to evaluate pre-school children’s actual interaction experience with video puzzle based on multi-touch technology. The aim of evaluating the children video Puzzle interaction experience is to enable the preschool children to achieve their interaction goals effectively, efficiently and with great actual use experience, in their everyday context of use. In this paper, video puzzle is employed as an interactive content, and as a tool to evaluate the efficiency of task completion time, move, and errors as a result from the pre-school children’s actual interaction with video puzzle. Further, Catch-the-Stars application designed based on Fitt’s law principle was used to evaluate the most effective region of range of targeting and accuracy by pre-school children’s interaction with multitouch surface. Lastly, a hybrid UTAUT model had been introduced to understand the factors that actually influence the satisfaction of children video puzzle interaction using two type of multi-touch surface, namely 21.5' all-in-one PC and 10.1 Asus tablet. The children video puzzle interaction framework is designed to incorporate the three components of usability for an interactive system, namely, effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction in a single framework, to understand the interactions among pre-school children and interactive system, in this paper, a combination of video puzzle and multi-touch surface technology.
