A poets' seminar

Edited text of a set of conversations concerning contemporary Australian poetry and poetics, which took place in the English Department at the Australian National University in the winter of 1988. Present, not always all at the same time, were Nigel Roberts, John Forbes, Robert Adamson, Richard Tipping, Geoff Page, Livio Dobrez, Patricia Dobrez and David Brooks. The poets were asked, at the outset, to make a brief statement as to where they saw themselves and their work at that particular point in time.
