Aerial component of the soil-formation substrate in the southern part of the maritime territory
1994
Dust accumulation has been determined by collecting atmospheric fallout over four seven-month periods (November-May). It was equal to 14.6 g/m 2 in deciduous and to 21.2 g/m 2 in coniferous forest plots in the southern part of the Maritime Territory. With the existing bulk density of the upper soil horizons, the rate of aerial accumulation will be 2.9-4.2 cm/1000 yr.
