Mathematical Models of Romantic Relationships

In this chapter, we review the main results obtained so far by mathematicians in modeling romantic relationships. The models allow one to compute the time evolution of the feelings from the state of indifference, where two individuals are initially, to the permanent stationary, periodic, or chaotic romantic regime they reach after some time.
