Strong turbulence for vibrating plates: Emergence of a Kolmogorov spectrum

In the low viscosity liquid and zero thickness vibrating elastic sheet, turbulent behavior is observed. We find the same Kolmogorov spectrum cascade for energy redistribution per scale ${E}_{k}\ensuremath{\sim}{P}^{2/3}\phantom{\rule{0}{0ex}}{k}^{\ensuremath{-}5/3}$ in both, apparently, completely disparate physical situations.
