Turkiye’de Yaslilarin Yasam Kalitesi: Sistematik Inceleme Ozet (≤250 KELIME) Amac: Bu sistematik inceleme, Turkiye’de yaslilarin yasam kalitelerini ve etkileyen faktorleri arastiran calismalarin sistematik bir sekilde incelenmesi amaciyla planlanmistir. Gerec ve Yontem: Calismada, Temmuz-Agustos 2016 tarihleri arasinda “yaslilik”, “geriatri” ve “yasam kalitesi” anahtar kelimeleriyle taranarak ulasilan, son on yilda Turkiye’de yapilmis, yayin dili Turkce/Ingilizce, yayinlanmis ve tam metni bulunan 33 makale incelenmistir. Bulgular: Calismaya dahil edilen makalelerin tamami tanimlayici tipte olup, 12 calisma huzurevlerinde, 17 arastirma ev ortaminda yasayan yaslilar ile yapilirken 4 calisma hastane ya da aile saglik merkezlerine basvuran, 1 calisma ise ev ve huzurevinde kalan kisileri ortak iceren bir orneklemle yurutulmustur. Incelenen calismalardan uc tanesinin inkontinans, dort calismanin depresyon, bir calismanin ise yaslilarda kazalar ile yasam kalitesi arasindaki iliskiyi ele aldigi, 25 calismanin ise yasam kalitesini etkileyen faktorleri inceledigi gorulmustur Sonuc: Yapilan calismalarda elde edilen sonuclar, secilen populasyonun ozelliklerine gore farkliliklar gostermekle birlikte, tum calismalarda, kronik bir hastaligin varligi ve/veya bagimsizlik duzeyindeki azalma ile yasam kalitesinin dustugu, sagligi algilama durumu ile yasam kalitesi arasinda dogru orantili bir iliski oldugu ileri surulmustur. Quality of Life of Old People in Turkey: A Systematic Investigation Abstract (≤250 WORDS) Objective: This systematic investigation was planned in order to systematically investigate the studies about quality of life of elderly people in Turkey and the affecting factors. Materials and Method: In the study, the keywords old age, geriatrics, and quality of life were scanned between July and August 2016, and 33 full text articles, published in Turkey in the last decade, in Turkish/ English were investigated. Findings: All of the articles included in the study were of a descriptive type, and 12 studies were conducted on elderly people living in nursing homes, 17 studies were with the community-dwelling elderly, 4 studies were on elderly applied to hospitals or family healthcare centers, and 1 study was conducted with a sample that included participants both community-dwelling and residing at nursing home. It was found that three of the studies dealt with incontinence, four with depression, and one with the relationship between accidents and quality of life among elderly people, while 25 studies examined the factors affecting quality of life. Conclusion: The results obtained from the studies suggested that although the characteristics of the selected populations were different, in all studies quality of life reduced with the presence of a chronic illness and/or a reduction in the level of independence, and that there was a direct relationship between the state of health perception and the quality of life Keywords: (3-5 Words): Elderly, Quality of Life, Turkey
