Analisis Fenotipe F1 Hasil Persilangan Galur Padi C3 dan Varietas Koshihikari

Abstrak . Galur C3 merupakan galur hasil persilangan varietas Cantik Manis dan varietas introduksi Yinzhan yang berasal dari Cina. Galur ini memiliki kelebihan seperti arsitekturnya yang pendek, jumlah anakan yang tinggi, aroma yang khas. Kelemahan yang terdapat pada galur ini adalah umur panennya yang masih agak dalam yaitu 135 hari. Umur genjah merupakan salah satu karakter penting yang dapat meningkatkan produksi. Kelemahan tersebut dapat diperbaiki dengan dilakukannya persilangan dengan varietas introduksi Koshihikari yang berasal dari Jepang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari fenotipe F 1 hasil persilangan galur padi C3 dan varietas Koshihikari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kasa Kebun Percobaan dan Laboratorium Genetika dan Pemuliaan Tanaman Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam, Banda Aceh sejak bulan November 2020 hingga Juli 2021. Benih yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah F 1 C3/Kh serta tetua galur C3 dan varietas Koshihikari. Benih yang telah disemai ditanam ke dalam pot yang telah diberi 2 lubang tanam, dan masing-masing ditanam 1 bibit. Berdasarkan data analisis fenotipe 22 tanaman F 1 C3/Kh yang ditanam, terdapat perbedaan karakter antara F 1 C3/Kh dengan tetua galur C3. Sebanyak 8 tanaman memiliki arsitektur yang lebih pendek dibandingkan tetua galur C3 yaitu berkisar antara 96-101,5 cm. Phenotypic Analysis of F 1 Result of Crossing between C3 Rice Lines and Koshihikari Varieties Abstract. The C3 rice line is the result of a cross between the Cantik Sweet variety and the introduced Yinzhan variety from China. This strain has advantages such as short architecture, high number of tillers, distinctive aroma. The weakness of this line is that the harvest age is still rather deep, which is 135 days. Early maturity is one of the important characters that can increase production. This weakness can be corrected by crossing with the introduced variety Koshihikari from JapanThis research aims to learn the F 1 phenotype resulting from a cross between the C3 rice lines and the Koshihikari variety. This research was carried out at the Screen House of Experimental Gardens and the Laboratory of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, Darussalam, Banda Aceh from November 2020 to July 2021. The seeds used in this study were F 1 C3/Kh and the parents of the C3 line and the Koshihikari variety. The seeds that have been sown are planted in pots that have been given 2 planting holes, and 1 seed is planted in each. Based on the phenotype analysis data of 22 F 1 C3/Kh plants planted, there were differences in characters between F 1 C3/Kh and C3 line parents. A total of 8 plants had a shorter architecture than the C3 line parents, which ranged from 96-101.5 cm.
