The invention discloses a crossroad red light running snapshot system based on the Internet of Things, and belongs to the technical field of an intelligent traffic vehicle snapshot system. The system comprises a traffic monitoring terminal, a coordinator, routers and ZigBee wireless network nodes; the ZigBee wireless network node are disposed at various crossroads of a city, each ZigBee wireless network node comprises a ZigBee module, a signal lamp state input unit, a vehicle detection unit, a control unit and an image acquisition unit; each image acquisition unit comprises an image snapshot module, an image transmission module and an image storage module; and each image transmission module comprises a first double-convex lens having a focal length of f1 and a second single-convex lens having a focal length of f2, at least one surface of the first double-convex lens and the second single-convex lens is provided with a binary diffractive optical structure, and a f1/f2 ratio IS 0.25-1.36. The system uses a ZigBee wireless communication network and monitors red light running conditions of the various crossroads of the city in 24 hours, and photographed images have high resolution.
