Chairman Millstein called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. Officers and Council members present were: Chairman Ira M. Millstein, Chairman-Elect Allen C. Holmes, Vice-Chairman Howard Adler, Section Delegate Harvey M. Applebaum, Budget Officer Lee N. Abrams, Secretary John H. Morrison, Taylor R. Briggs, Arthur Medow, Earl E. Pollock, Harry Kemker, Richard J. MacLaury, Maxwell M. Blecher, Richard W. Pogue, Peter D. Byrnes, Carla A. Hills and Richard A. Whiting. Also present were Staff Liaison Lorayne Rice, Law Student Division Liaison W. Dale Collins and, at the invitation of the Section Chairman, the following committee chairpersons and project leaders: Mark Crane, Irving Scher, W. Donald McSweeney, James P. Melican, Ernest A. Gellhorn, Josef D. Cooper, Donald I. Baker, James H. Wallace, Jr., James T. Halverson, Ronald B. Myrter, Gordon F. Hampton, John F. Graybeal, Philip F. Zeidman, James R. Loftis, Michael" L. Denger, James F. Rill, Daniel F. Kolb, David L. Foster and Eleanor M. Fox. Last Retiring Chairman Edwin S. Rockefeller and Council members William T. Lifland, Thomas E. Kauper and John H. Shenefield were not present, due to bad weather.
