Possibility of Determining Relative Density of Lubricating Oil Fractions from Photoimages

The possibility of remote determination of the relative density of lubricating oil fractions from photoimages is shown. The established correlation between the color characteristics and the density can be applied for operational control of oil quality at oil refineries.
