Investigation of collagen changes in sclerodermatous skin using second harmonic generation microscopy

The changes of collagen in sclerodermatous skin were investigated qualitatively and quantitatively using second harmonic generation (SHG) microscopy. The technique has great potential to be used to diagnose scleroderma and monitor the therapy response.
