Energy dependence of the angular correlation functions in the reactions /sup 10/B(. cap alpha. ,d. gamma. )/sup 12/C and /sup 11/B(. cap alpha. ,t. gamma. )/sup 12/C in the region E/sub. cap alpha. / = 21--25 MeV

We report measurements of angular correlation functions in the reactions /sup 10/B(..cap alpha..,d..gamma../sub 4.44/)/sup 12/C and /sup 11/B(..cap alpha.., t..gamma../sub 4.44/)/sup 12/C for a charged-particle emission angle theta/sup lab//sub d/ = theta/sup lab//sub t/ = 30/sup 0/ in the interval of ..cap alpha..-particle energies 21--25 MeV. From these data we have established all nine independent components of the spin tensors of the density matrix of the 4.44-MeV state of the /sup 12/C nucleus. The energy dependence of the reaction characteristics obtained is discussed.
