The Joint Simulation of Marine Dual Fuel Engine

Based on Wartsila 9L34DF marine dual fuel engine, and the mathematical model of the 9L34DF was established by using BOOST for Static simulation, the models were configured according to the technical parameters of the actual equipment. To keep the engine speed constant, the simulation of four gradient working conditions of 100%, 85%, 75% and 50% in gas mode was carried out, and the simulation results were verified. In order to study the dynamic characteristics of the 9L34DF, the joint simulation of AVL BOOST and Matlab was realized by configuring the extended interface of the software kernel. The Simulink control model of the engine under the gas mode was set up, taking the fuel supply of the engine as a variable, and the intake of circulating air remains constant. Two sets of simulation constraints were set and the joint simulation study was carried out respectively. Through the calculation and analysis of the simulation results, the optimum air-fuel ratio under 750rpm and 100% working conditions was obtained.
