Novel bipolar material and application thereof

2012
The invention relates to a novel bipolar material and an application thereof. The material uses sulfur oxides fluorene groups as a center to connect two carbazole derivatives or amine compounds, and the advantages of good electron transport property of sulfur oxides fluorene groups and good hole transport property of carbazole derivative or amine compound are combined to enable the material to have bipolar property. At the same time, the material has a suitable molecular energy level, and also can be used as the light emitting material. Since the spatial structure of the material is a distorted non-planar structure, the intermolecular aggregation can be avoided and the generation of exciplex can be reduced effectively. Experimental results show that the material has a good thermal stability and electroluminescence characteristic, and can be used as an electron transport material, a hole transport material and a luminescent material for an organic electroluminescence device respectively, and can obtain electroluminescence with high color purity and efficiency.
