Современные подходы к организации обучения иностранному языку в высшей школе: проблемы и пути

Authors of this article considered the actual problems facing teachers of the Russian higher school. Characterizing foreign language skills as one of key common cultural competences of the successful competitive expert, authors noted an imperative need of restructuring of process of training in a foreign language, and also process of implementation of monitoring of quality of training due to active integration into them of information and communicative technologies. This article discusses the typology of educational Internet resources, possibilities of use of SKYPE and webinars (online seminars) in the course of the foreign language teaching. Authors placed particular emphasis that application of Internet technologies shouldn't become end in itself on class in a foreign language, remaining in balance with more traditional techniques of training. Proceeding from situation that effective monitoring of quality of language preparation is the integral component of successful process of formation and increase of level of language, cross-cultural and communicative competences of students, authors noted the positive effect of introduction of control and measuring materials on an electronic basis (Moodle, e-Learning, etc.) in educational process at the higher school. In article authors accented the role of control and measuring materials on an electronic basis as means of processing, the analysis and systematization of information on the quality of language training of students providing strong feedback between the student and the teacher. Modern development of this type helps to trace systematically process and result of digestion of material by students of the higher school and, if necessary, in due time to introduce amendments in educational process. Authors believe that as a result of the weighed application of Internet technologies, the teacher of the higher school has an opportunity to provide actual tracking the course of educational process for improvement of quality of language training of students.
