Method for quantifying solid-phase reactions using fluorine NMR.

1998
A method for quantifying a solid phase reaction comprising: (a) initiating a solid-phase reaction between a reaction component solid phase containing fluorine, of the formula wherein is a solid support containing one or more fluorine atoms as internal standard; L is absent or a linking group optionally containing one or more fluorine atoms; and B is a functional group suitable for reaction with a reactant or fluorine-containing reactant to form a reaction product in solid phase containing fluorine. and a reactant or fluorine-containing reactant to form a reaction product in solid phase containing fluorine; (B) taking a sample of said solid-phase reaction after a predetermined time interval and obtaining a 19 F NMR spectrum of said sample; and (c) comparing, in said 19 F NMR spectrum, 19F resonance of the reaction product in solid phase containing fluorine 19F resonance of said internal standard.
