WEDGE SPLIT NUMERICAL SIMULATION BASED ON THE CONCRETE DAMAGED PLASTICITY MODEL

In order to evaluate the capacity of concrete damaged plasticity model in simulating static mechanical properties analysis in concrete materials and elements by software ABAQUS,the theoretical basis of damaged plasticity model is firstly introduced,and the model is applied in FEM analysis of wedge split test of concrete.The experimental data was compared with numerical results.This paper discussed the significance of the damaged plasticity model in concrete nonlinear analysis and determination of the value in some critical parameters.Therefore,further extension and promotion can be made based on the study.
