Tacrolimus hemmt die dermale, nicht jedoch die intestinale Wundheilung

2003
Tacrolimus, used in solid organ transplantation, inhibits T-cell activation. Little is known about its effect on the immunoregulation of dermal and intestinal healing. In rats, the effect of tacrolimus (1–5 mg/kg/d) on dermal and left colonic healing was tested 10 days and 5 days post-wounding, respectively. Tacrolimus impaired dermal but not intestinal healing. Impaired healing was reflected in decreased levels of TGF-β (stimulates healing) and increased levels of IFN-γ and TNF-α (both impair healing) in wound fluid.
