Iatrogenic delirium in an elderly patient: When drugs are harmful

Delirium is a global disorder of cognition that represents a medical emergency and, particularly in elderly, is often unrecognized or misdiagnosed and commonly mistaken for dementia, depression, mania, or an acute schizophrenic reaction.
