Análisis del mercado laboral del municipio de Caldas, período junio - agosto de 2011

The following paper is the result of the research project "Characterization of the labor supply in the town of Caldas " with the support of the Corporacion Universitaria Lasallista , which allowed the collection of data from the household survey during the period June to August 2011 , seeking to understand and analyze some characteristics of the labor market, taking as reference a similar study conducted in the municipality of Rio Negro (Mesa , Lopez and Gonzalez , 2009), obtaining useful economic information which resulted in a document, which may serve as a resource for the generation of proposals aimed at alleviating the complex situation of employment in the population by the public sector, academia and the private sector. The instrument for data collection was adapted in order to focus work on the characteristics of the labor supply in the municipality of Caldas, for which a design which yielded results in the need for 1050 forms to households in different districts was conducted and sidewalks , which were tabulated , subsequently generated graphs and charts that supported the analysis of information in order to make the description of the current state of employment or unemployment in municipal families. In the analysis of the labor situation in the community of Caldas problems, which may be a reflection of what happens in the national context , as high unemployment , underemployment and informality , low levels of education and income insecurity is found .
