1991 SURVEY FOR CHLOROTHALONIL AND CHLOROTHALONIL METABOLITES IN SURFACE WATERS OF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND, CANADA

A stream sampling program to monitor chlorothalonil and three metabolite residues was carried out in six agricultural sub-basins on Prince Edward Island. No chlorothalonil residues were observed but one metabolite 3-cyano-2,4,5,5-tetrachlorobenzamide was observed in two samples of the 78 collected. Quality assurance data indicated that the current preservation and analytical protocols were effective.
