Application of Numerical Simulation Technology to the Gating System Design of Aluminum Alloy Die Casting

The filling and solidification process for two different pouring position gating system scheme of aluminum alloy die casting has been simulated by MAGMA numerical simulation software to select the optimum gating system.In comparison the simulation results of the two different schemes,the gating system of pouring position from straight edge into the casting were determined,and the scheme has a favorable effect in the verification of actual production.
