Adicción y factores determinantes en el uso problemático del Internet, en una muestra de jóvenes universitarios

The study aims to determine the internet addiction and the factors on Internet misuse in university students from H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Methodology: The population was 1,125 students and a sample of 323 students, from a public university, the instrument used was "Cuestionario de Uso Problematico de Internet" (CUPI) with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.966, the study design was descriptive cross-sectional. Results: It was found that the factor “Anticipation” had the most probability and the less were “Know of control” and “Recognition Lack of Control”.
