The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of precision processing and discloses a side hole chamfering processing method. The method comprises the following steps of: rotating a to-be-processed workpiece by a rotary mechanism and enabling the workpiece to be in a vertical state parallel to the spindle of a numerical-control machine tool; processing at least one side hole in a side hole processing surface of the workpiece from the spindle; detecting a practical side hole position, on a side hole processing surface, of a side hole by a probe which moves along the spindle; obtaining a compensation parameter according to the practical side hole position and a preset standard hole position; obtaining a practical chamfering position according to the compensation parameter and the preset standard chamfering position; rotating the workpiece to a horizontal state perpendicular to the spindle by the rotary mechanism; and utilizing a forming milling cutter on the numerical-control machine tool for processing and chamfering on the side hole according to the practical chamfering position. According to the embodiment, position compensation is performed for chamfering processing to reduce or eliminate chamfering processing errors, so that large and small chamfered sides are uniform, and therefore, the chamfering processing yield is greatly increased.
